1978 R100RS/S with 38590 original miles. Enthusiast/collector owned and well kep!

There was a production run of BMW R100RS motorcycles made for a European distrubutor who cancelled their order mid-production.  They contacted Butler & Smith to offer this allocation.  

They were built with the R100S cockpit faring option and finished with paint code 585 weiss motorsport which consisted of base color of 83 polizeiweiss and three pinstripes.

There were 60 of the R100RS/S Motorsport Motocycles produced worldwide!

Not only is this a piece of BMW history, but a great riding motorcycle  with dual disc brakes, 40 mm carbs, 38 mm exhaust pipes
