‘Exploring the World by Motorcycle…Through the Eyes of a Professional Photographer’

Ed has owned and operated Ed Pedi Photography Studio in North Andover, MA for the past 33 years. He is best described as a photographic artist who is passionate about photography and specializes in preserving family portrait memories. In addition to photography, Ed also possesses an equally strong passion for motorcycle riding which he has enjoyed for over 55 years and ridden over half a million motorcycle miles, mostly on BMW’s.

He has combined his two passions in this exciting presentation that will take you on an international journey around the world to 70 Countries on six Continents which he and his wife Linda have toured to date and continuing. He will share his knowledge and experience by way of his various photographic images and videos captured on his travels over the past 30 years; including many interesting stories behind some of his award winning images of the native people, their cultures, scenery and overall personal experiences. Ed will also discuss the pros and cons of guided vs. self-guided touring and include information on various tour companies he’s traveled with. He’ll share his packing check list for international travel which has evolved over the years and also cover the photographic equipment he brings on every adventure. Be prepared to be transported around the world in this immersive presentation of stunning images and video, presented by a fun, upbeat, energetic speaker.

Ed Pedi is a professional photographer, speaker, mentor, and author. He holds the Professional Photographer of America (PPA) degrees of Master Photographer, Photographic Craftsman and he is a PPA Approved Juror. He has been honored to receive a wide array of photographic awards including eight-time recipient of PPA ‘Photographer of the Year’ award. Ed has lectured and taught classes around the country, including a platform speaker at PPA annual National Conference on two occasions. Ed is past President of Professional Photographers Assoc. of MA and past President of Professional Photographers Assoc. of New England. He is author of the book, ‘Classic Family Portraits’.
