f you were at BMWs 80th anniversary at Daytona Bike week in 2003, this red R75/5 might seem familiar from BMWs display. Look through your photo album or time to bring the negatives in and this /5 may be in one of your pictures. A prominent collector gave his bike to BMW to represent this terrific era from BMW.
The late 1960s saw the emergence of the "slash five" series and the 50 hp R75/5.
This /5 has been properly stored for coming up on 20 years. It is an untouched, unrestored machine with 40,558 miles.
Prior to riding/using the /5, typical recommissioning work is recommended from fluids, battery, etc.
